Configuring Credit for a Time Account
The credit for a time account shows how long a subscriber can make calls externally at most.
If the subscriber has no more time available, it is no longer possible to make external calls on
the corresponding telephone until the time credit has been increased or reset.
If the subscriber is currently on a call and there is only two minutes of credit left the time
account, the subscriber hears a short attention tone repeatedly.
Note: An overview of the credits for time and call allowance accounts can be
configured as an element on the portal page (Account balance).
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Via the configuration manager
• Using a character string on the internal telephone
Configuring Credit for a Time Account via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open one of the following pages:
• COMpact 3000 analog/VoIP: FUNCTIONS > Time accounts > Accounts
• COMpact 3000 ISDN: FUNCTIONS > Time and call allowance accounts >
Accounts
2. Click in the line of the corresponding subscriber.
3. Select one of the following options in the Type list field under Add to credit.
Unlimited allowance: Disables the time limit of the time account. (No other
action is required.)
Manual: Replaces the remaining time one time with the time entered in the
Remaining time entry field.
... by: Regularly increases the remaining time by the time entered in the
Credited time entry field.
... to: Regularly replaces the remaining time with the time entered in the
Credited time entry field.
