Turning on the PBX

Commissioning
The commissioning of the PBX includes switching on the PBX, as well as connecting the PC
for configuration. If the VoIP and ISDN end devices are connected, they also have to be
commissioned.
Turning on the PBX
Requirements:
– The power plug included in the package
– For connecting to the power plug (step 1): cover panel is removed
1. Insert the barrel connector of the power plug into the barrel socket of the PBX.
The figure in the following shows the position of the barrel socket under the cover
panel, as well as the connection set up to the power plug.
2. Replace the cover panel.
3. Insert the power plug into a freely accessible 230 V Schuko socket
The "Power" LED shines several seconds in red and orange, as specified below. If the
LEDs shines green, the PBX is ready for operation.
"Power" LED:
Shines red
Shines orange
Blinks orange
Shines orange
Shines green

Status of the PBX:
The boot partition is being tested.
The hardware data and the kernel are being loaded from
the partition.
The kernel drivers are being loaded.
The PBX application is started.
The PBX is ready for operation.
