Configuring the Billing Factor
The billing factor indicates the value used to convert the subscriber's telephone costs.
This factor is used to multiply the charges transmitted from the network provider or the calcu-
lated charges. The telephone costs calculated in this way are used in the call data list.
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Expert view (click
1. Open the page PROPERTIES > Internal subscribers > Subscriber properties >
Exchange line settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Enter a value in the Billing factor entry field. The following entries are possible:
Factor in 0.00 format
Digits and separator "," (comma)
0.01 to 0.99: Reduces the telephone costs for the subscriber
1.00: The charges accrued correspond to the telephone costs of the subscriber
1.01 to 9.99: Increases the telephone costs for the subscriber

Switching Charge Information On/Off
If the charge information is enabled, the charge information transmitted by the network provider
is recorded by the PBX and can be evaluated for the individual calls.
Deactivating this function is only advisable if it causes problems on the external connection (this
depends on the network provider/country).
