Creating a Voice Mailbox

Creating a Voice Mailbox
A maximum of six voice mailboxes can be created. The voice mailboxes are already installed
as a part of the factory settings (telephone numbers 701 to 706). You can change or delete
them.
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– An SD card inserted in the SD card slot or a USB memory stick inserted in the USB port
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Voice mail/fax boxes > Boxes.
2. If necessary, change one of the telephone numbers displayed in the line of the
corresponding voice mailbox in the Telephone number entry field or enter a new
telephone number in the lowest line of the Telephone number entry field. The
following entries are possible:
Up to 4 digits
Digits
3. Enter the desired name in the Name entry field. The following entries are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
4. If necessary, select the Voice mailbox option in the Type list field.
Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.

Switching a Voice Mailbox On/Off

If the voice mailbox is enabled, incoming calls can be received by the voice mailbox. The
following configuration options are available:
• immediately: An incoming call is immediately received by the voice mailbox.
