Creating a VoIP provider

Creating a VoIP provider
Six VoIP providers are already pre-configured in the factory settings. A total of up to ten VoIP
providers can be created.
Creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP provider.
2. Enter the name of the VoIP provider in the first available Name entry field. The
following entries are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
3. Click .
4. Click in the line of the corresponding VoIP provider.
The page Provider configuration > Provider opens, and under Provider name, the
assigned name is displayed.
Further steps:
– Configure addition settings on the Provider configuration page.
Note: The data required for the settings on the Provider configuration page
are provided directly by the VoIP-provider or can be found in corresponding
lists in the Internet.
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
