Proxy
The proxy is a network component to which specific requests are sent instead of sending them
directly to the destination. The proxy either forwards the request to the destination, rejects it, or
replies directly if the data is already contained in its own cache.

Query Calls
During a query call, you are talking with one subscriber while your previous communication
partner is on hold on the PBX in the background listening to hold music.
A query call is initiated either by calling a query call subscriber, using pickup during a call, or
by accepting a call signalled by call waiting.

Room Monitoring
The room monitoring function can be used for monitoring a room acoustically, for instance, for
monitoring a small child while she sleeps. The internal telephone in this room must be suitably
configured for this purpose.
The configured telephone can then be called by another internal telephone or by a password-
protected external telephone. The connection is established immediately and it is possible to
listen into the room.
Router
