Switching E-mail Message Sending On/Off

E-mail
An e-mail (electronic mail) is a message that is transmitted over a computer network.
Switching E-mail Message Sending On/Off
If the sending of e-mail messages has been enabled, an e-mail message is automatically sent
via the outgoing server after a new message (voice message or fax) is received. When this is
done, it is possible to attach the message as a file. Voice messages are made available as
WAVE files and faxes as PDF files. An e-mail contains the following information:
• Name/telephone number of the voice mail/fax box
• Caller/sender
• Time (time, weekday, date)
• Message length
Mark as read the messages that have been sent to enable a cleanup of the voice mail and fax
boxes. Only messages that are marked as read can automatically be deleted from the memory.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for voice mail and fax boxes
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Internet access on the PBX
– Configured outgoing mail server (SMTP)
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Voice mail/fax boxes > Boxes.
2. Click
in the line of the corresponding voice mail or fax box.
3. Select or clear the Send e-mail in HTML format check box under E-mail.
The e-mails will be sent in HTML format.
The e-mails will be sent in text format.
