VoIP Account Status Overview
Note: The status display mirrors only the logical status! This means that, for
example, an INVITE request to the provider that is replied to with "404 Not
Found" (telephone number unknown) is considered successful.
Gray Undetermined, e.g., because:
• No attempt has yet been made to make a call over this VoIP account.
• The STUN request failed or the system was restarted. The part must be rechecked
in order to display the current status. Until a response is received, a gray dot
(undetermined) is displayed.
Red Error, e.g., because:
• The outbound proxy is offline.
• The outbound proxy was entered incorrectly under Provider configuration >
Provider > Outbound proxy for the VoIP provider (CONFIGURATION > External
numbers > VoIP connection > Name and settings >
• The domain was entered incorrectly under Provider configuration > Provider >
Servers for the VoIP provider (CONFIGURATION > External numbers > VoIP
connection > Name and settings >
• The account data has been entered incorrectly, e.g., due to a misspelling or the
data has been assigned to the incorrect provider. Here in particular, the user
name, the password and the authorization ID (if provided) should be checked
(CONFIGURATION > External numbers > VoIP connection > Name and
settings).
• Although the outbound proxy is on the network ("ping" is successful), it cannot
currently carry out its task (e.g., maintenance tasks).
• The account is blocked.
