Initiating External Callback on Busy

As soon as the connection is no longer busy, you are called by the central office for a
period of 20 seconds.
4. Pick up the receiver to the make the callback.
Note: If you do not pick up the receiver within the 20 seconds during which
the PBX calls you, the callback request will be deleted.
If you pick up the receiver, the subscriber will be called.
Note:
You can also use this function on analog telephones, where it can be
performed via the T-Net function key/menu (see manual for the telephone).
On the COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB/VoIP 2500 AB system
telephones, this function is called via the menu (see manual for the
telephone).
Initiating External Callback on Busy
Note: Initiating an external callback on busy is often not possible for analogue
connections.
Requirements:
– Fulfilling the technical requirements for a callback on busy (for instance, not all network
providers provide callback on a Point-to-Point connection)
If the connection you are calling is busy, proceed as described in the following.
1. Press the Flash key (when using a telephone with DTMF dialling) or the Query key
(when using an ISDN telephone).
2. Dial *37#.
You will hear the confirmation tone.
Note: If you do not hear a confirmation tone, the callback request has been
rejected by the central office.
3. Hang up the receiver.
