Restoring Configuration Data from a Restoration Point

Restoring Configuration Data from a Restoration Point
The restoration can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Important: Restoring an old configuration overwrites the current configu-
ration data.
Note: A configuration file that was created with an older firmware version,
may possibly not contain all of the configuration data (for example, data for
new functions that were added by a firmware update).
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Inserted restoration point
1. Open the page SERVICE > Data backup > Restoration points.
Note: The restoration is also provided during the quick configuration using
the configuration wizard.
2. In the Configuration file list field under Restore old configuration data, select the
restoration point for which configuration data should be restored.
3. Select or clear the check box Restore network settings under Restore old confi-
guration data.
The network settings are restored.
The network settings are not restored.
4. Click Restore.
A confirm action dialog opens.
5. Click Next.
The configuration data is restored at the restoration point. The PBX restarts.
