Connecting the Analog Connection Directly to the External Analog Port
Requirements:
– External analog port (only COMpact 3000 analog)
– Minimal distance between the devices
Note: If the analog connection is relatively far away from the PBX, a cable
with wall socket must first be laid.
– The RJ-11 (6P/4C) connection cable to TAE-F included in the scope of delivery
1. Insert the end of the connection cable into the RJ-11 socket on the PBX.
2. Insert the other end of the connection cable into the wall socket provided by the
network provider.
The following figure shows the position of the RJ-11 socket at the side of the casing,
as well as the set up connection.
Connecting an ISDN Connection (NT) Directly to the External S
Requirements:
– External S
port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an
0
option)
– Minimal distance between the devices
Note: If the NT is relatively far away from the PBX, a cable with wall socket
must first be laid. Since the terminators have already been integrated into the
PBX, the wall sockets must not contain any terminators.
– The connection cable included in the package
– The terminators switched in in the NT
