Number Presentation
Configuring Number Presentation
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Configured external telephone numbers
– For preferred exchange line and fallback telephone number: more than one external
connection
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Number presentation.
2. Select or clear each the Standard check box.
Enables the default number presentation. (No other action is required.)
Disables the default number presentation.
3. Select the telephone number to be transmitted or the preferred exchange line in the
corresponding Phone number/Preferred exchange line list fields.
4. Select the telephone number to be transmitted in case that the connection is busy or
the overflow for the preferred exchange line in the corresponding Fallback/Overflow
list fields.
5. Select or clear each the Number presentation suppression check box.
Enables number presentation suppression.
Disables number presentation suppression.
Note: If the number presentation should be suppressed only on a call-by-call
basis, the Number presentation suppression check box must be cleared.
In this case, the number presentation to the caller is suppressed by a
telephone before a call is initiated.
