Configuring the Country Prefix

Querying the Gateway via an Internal Telephone
Requirements:
– CLIP-enabled telephone
– CLIP function enabled in the PBX (display of the telephone numbers)
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8*943#.
3. Hang up the receiver.
You will get a call. The gateway IP address is shown on the telephone display.
Configuring the Country Prefix
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External telephone numbers > Location.
Note: The configuration is also provided during the quick configuration using
the configuration wizard.
2. In the Country prefix entry field, enter the country prefix for the location of the instal-
lation. The following entries are possible:
Digits (e.g.: 0049 for Germany)
