Configuring Call Assignments

Configuring Call Assignments
Configuring the call assignments also specifies the external phone number over which the Call
Through user uses the Call Through function and how many Call Through calls can be made
simultaneously.
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:

port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an

– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization

1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Call Through.
2. In the Call Through telephone numbers list field under Call assignment, select the
external telephone number that must be dialled by the Call Through user in order to
call the PBX for Call Through.
Note: Call Through telephone numbers are not available for call distribution
and cannot be rerouted.
3. Enter a value in the Max. number of Call Through calls entry field under Call assig-
nment. The following entries are possible:
0 to 2: A maximum of 0 to 2 Call Through calls can be made simultaneously.

Creating Call Through Users

The telephone numbers on the mobile phone (call through user) which are used to carry out
the Call Through function must be entered in the telephone book. Call Through authorization
must be enabled for the telephone book entries in question. In addition, it can be configured
whether the telephone number dialled by the Call Through user should be checked to see if it
is a call restrictor or call deblocker number.
