Managing Voice Mailboxes and Fax Boxes
Fax Box
Fax Transfer
Requirements:
– An SD card inserted in the SD card slot or a USB memory stick inserted in the USB port
– Created fax box
– Installed Auerswald Fax printer driver
– Fax transfer function purchased and activated in the Upgrade Center
1. Open the document you want to send as a fax.
2. Print the file using the printing function of the PC program. In the printer selection,
select Auerswald Fax Printer.
The fax pages are generated. A dialog for entering login data opens.
3. In the Subscriber number entry field, enter the telephone number of the fax box in
question.
4. In the PIN entry field, enter the PIN for fax transfer of the fax box in question.
5. In the Network address entry field, enter the IP address of the PBX.
Click Check to check the login data. A window opens displaying the result of the
check. Click OK.
6. Click OK.
A dialog for entering the number of the fax recipient opens.
7. In the Fax number of the recipient entry field, enter the number of the fax recipient
(with exchange line access number).
8. Click Send.
The fax is transferred.
9. Click OK.
Note: If you want to cancel the transfer of a fax because, for example, you
entered the wrong number for the fax recipient, you can delete the fax
message under USER DATA > Messages + selection of the fax box in
question in the list field at the top. To do this, click the waste bin symbol in
front of the fax message to be deleted and then, click the tick symbol. The
transfer of this fax message is cancelled.
