Configuring the Number Presentation (Outgoing)

Configuring the Number Presentation (Outgoing)
In order for the PBX to transmit the data (e.g., dialled telephone numbers, transmitted
telephone numbers) in the correct format to the VoIP provider, the following settings must be
configured:
• Format of the dialled telephone number: Format in which the VoIP provider requires the
telephone number of the receiver in order to transfer the call.
Note: The PBX automatically converts the telephone numbers dialled into
this format for calls made over the VoIP provider When dialling without an
area code, the prefix of the location is used (CONFIGURATION > External
numbers > Location).
• Type of line identification presentation: The range in which the VoIP provider expects the
telephone number transmitted by the PBX.
• Format of transferred telephone number: Format in which the VoIP provider requires the
telephone number that should be transmitted.
Note:
The PBX checks whether and which of the telephone numbers entered
should be transmitted (CONFIGURATION > Telephone number presen-
tation).
The telephone number transmitted is automatically converted into the
selected format. If your own telephone numbers have been entered into the
PBX without area codes, the local area codes are used during conversion
(CONFIGURATION > External numbers > Location).
• Number presentation suppression: Telephone number suppression/restriction by the
provider with or without display text.
Note: When number presentation suppression by the provider is enabled, the
flag "Privacy: User" set in the SIP header.
Configuration can be carried out as follows:
• Separately for VoIP providers
• Via the configuration manager
