Configuring the Registrar

Requirements:
– External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– A configured DNS server and, if necessary, an HTTP proxy server
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP provider.
2. Click in the line of the corresponding VoIP provider.
It opens the page Provider configuration > Provider.
3. Enter the domain in the Domain entry field under Server.
Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Configuring the Registrar
REGISTER requests are sent to the registrar (also SIP registrar, registry, SIP server, SIP
registry server).
Configuration can be carried out as follows:
• Separately for VoIP providers
• Via the configuration manager

1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP provider.
2. Click in the line of the corresponding VoIP provider.

3. In the Registrar entry field under Server, enter the registrar.
