Analog Connection

Configuring CLIP Amplification

Requirements:
– External analog port (only COMpact 3000 analog)
– CLIP service attribute enabled with the network provider (telephone number display)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Expert view (click
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analog connection.
A page opens for configuring the analog connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. In the CLIP sub-version list field under CLIP, select when the CLIP information will
be sent by the network provider.
Note: By selecting the No CLIP information evaluation option, the data sent
by the network provider is not passed on to the internal subscribers.

– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Configuring CLIP Amplification
The amplification of the CLIP information indicates the number of decibels all audio signals are
increased or decreased by the PBX while receiving CLIP information.
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
