A COMpact S module can be used to extend the PBX by adding 1 internal S

ISDN module can be used to extend the PBX by adding an internal S
port.
An internal S port is suitable for connecting one of the following terminal devices:

• COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB system telephone (as of firmware version 4.0B)
• COMfortel DECT system telephone
• ISDN telephone in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)
• ISDN PC controller in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)
Important: The power consumption of the end devices on an S
total a maximum of 2.5 W.
An internal U port is suitable for connecting one of the following terminal devices:
P0
• COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB system telephone (as of firmware version 4.0B)
All other devices can only be connected to the U
port with two Western sockets by converting 2-wire to 4-wire. It is suitable for connecting the
following terminal devices:
• COMfortel DECT 900/900C system telephone
• ISDN telephone in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)
• ISDN PC controller in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)

– Cover panel is removed
– Internal S port (only provided at the optionally available COMpact S
