Dialling External Telephone Numbers via the Portal Page

Soft Call
With the soft call function, a user can use the Web interface of the PBX to dial an external
telephone number from the telephone book, the call data list, an RSS feed or by entering his
own telephone number. To do this, the user must log into the Web interface with his user PIN.
Dialling External Telephone Numbers via the Portal Page
When the user is logged in on the Web interface of the configuration manager, the soft call
function can be used via the portal page thereby allowing an external phone number to be
dialled directly.
Dialling can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Soft call element configured on the portal page for the subscriber
– Short-code authorization for business calls assigned to the subscriber
– An open configuration manager with an authorization level of user
1. Open the portal page (click the PBX name).
2. Enter the desired telephone numbers in the entry field under Soft call.
3. Click next to the telephone number.
The telephone number of the external subscriber is dialled.
