Creating Prefixes for Networks Manually
A prefix contains the prefix or all of the prefixes from the area that should be collected for the
network (e.g., local telephone network, regional network, international network).
Up to 1000 entries (name and area code/area code range) can be created for all networks in
total.
Note: LCR networks and the corresponding LCR prefixes can automati-
cally be created based on the local area code (FUNCTIONS > Least Cost
Routing > LCR networks under Create LCR networks automatically with
help of the area code).
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Configured LCR network
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Least Cost Routing > LCR networks.
2. Click
in the line of the corresponding network.
3. In the list field at the top, select the network in question using its name.
4. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Least Cost Routing > LCR prefixes.
5. Enter a name for identification in the first available Name entry field. The following
entries are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
6. In the Area code/Area code range entry field, enter the corresponding digit
sequence for an area code or area code range.
7. Click
.
The digit sequence has been added to the list.
8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 to create additional entries.
