Calling a Third Subscriber and Transferring to an Active Communication Partner
3. Enter a telephone number. The following entries are possible:
exchange line access number + external call number (If you are using a
direct exchange line access point, the leading exchange line access number is
omitted.)
short code number (If you are using a direct exchange line access point, the
short code number ** is dialled first.)
internal telephone number of the individual telephone (If you are using a
direct exchange line access point, the telephone number ** is dialled first.)
internal telephone number of the line group (If you are using a direct
exchange line access point, the telephone number ** is dialled first.)
As soon as the subscriber being called picks up the receiver, you will make a third call.
Important: To use this function on ISDN and system telephones, the function
must be supported via a function key or via the menu by the respective
telephone (see manual for the telephone).
4. Proceed as required.
• To connect the second and third communication partner and to perform a one-to-
one call with the first communication partner, press the Flash key (when using a
telephone with DTMF dialling) or the Query key (when using an ISDN telephone)
and dial 4.
The second and the third communication partner are now connected with each
other.
Then return to conducting an individual call with your first communication partner.
• To connect the second and third communication partner and to terminate the call
with the first communication partner, hang up the receiver.
The second and the third communication partner are now connected with each
other.
The first call will be signaled by the PBX if it was an external call. The internal call
is disconnected.
Note: If the third communication partner is not ready to be transferred to the
second communication partner, press the Flash key (when using a
telephone with DTMF dialling) or the Query key (when using an ISDN
telephone) and dial 1. You will then get back to the normal query call.
