Configuring the Network Memory

Network Memory
A USB hard disk or a USB memory stick can be connected to a USB host. This storage medium
can then be accessed from the LAN.
Configuring the Network Memory
Important:
The storage medium used requires FAT16 or FAT32 formatting with long file
name support.
The storage medium must be previously formatted, since formatting is not
possible on the PBX.
The configuration can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– A storage medium connected to the USB host
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page SERVICE > Memory > Network memory.
2. Select or clear the Usage check box.
Enables the network memory.
Disables the network memory.
Note: When enabling the network memory, a check is made as to whether
the memory has access to the "netstore" directory. If this directory is not
present, it is automatically created on the first partition.
3. Enter the password you want in the Password entry field under Access data. The
following entries are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
