Switching VoIP Account Usage On/Off

3. Open the page VoIP connection > Name and settings.
Note: Account creation is also offered on the page CONFIGURATION >
Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP account as well as in the configuration wizard
during quick setup (only for COMpact 3000 VoIP).
4. Click .
5. Enter the desired name in the Account name entry field. The following entries are
possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
Note: During quick setup in the configuration wizard, the account name VoIP
is automatically allocated to the VoIP account.
6. Select the VoIP provider at which the account was configured in the VoIP provider
list field.
Further steps:
– Configure the exchange line access number for the account.
– Enter the access data that you received from the VoIP provider for the account.
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Switching VoIP Account Usage On/Off
If VoIP account usage is enabled, it is used for external calls made from the PBX.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for VoIP accounts
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
