Switching Loop Current Detection for Line Connection On/Off

– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Expert view (click
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analog connection.
A page opens for configuring the analog connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. Select or clear the Detect line access code and wait check box under Line
connection.
Enables the detection of the line access code entered.
Disables the detection of the line access code entered. (No other action is
required.)
5. In the Detect line access code and wait entry field under Line connection, enter
the required digit or digit sequence for which a dialling pause should be inserted after
it is dialled. The following entries are possible:

Switching Loop Current Detection for Line Connection On/Off
If loop current detection for the line connection is enabled, the PBX checks whether loop current
is present on the line to be connected.
Note:
If loop current is detected, the line is then used.
If no loop current is detected, the line is considered as not being active or
not present.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
