Configuring the Interval for NAT Keep Alive

deactivated: Disables the outbound proxy. (No other action is required.)
automatically: Automatically determines an outbound proxy. (No other action
is required.)
manual: Enables the entry of an outbound proxy.
4. Enter the outbound proxy in the IP address or URL entry field under Outbound
proxy. The following entries are possible:
IP address with a range of 0 to 255 (example: 123.123.123.123)
URL (example: www.outboundproxy.de)
5. Enter the associated port number (Port) in the Port entry field under Outbound
proxy. The following entries are possible:
1 to 65535
Note: The port 5060 is configured in the factory settings.

Configuring the Interval for NAT Keep Alive
The interval for NAT Keep Alive indicates after how many seconds NAT Keep Alive packets are
sent to maintain the NAT mapping in the firewall.
Configuration can be carried out as follows:
• Separately for VoIP providers
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP provider.
2. Click
in the line of the corresponding VoIP provider.
The Provider configuration opens.
