Switching Short-code Dialling Number Authority On/Off

Short-code Authorization
If exchange line authorization is restricted and you want to increase your dialling options by
adding specific telephone numbers, short-code dialling number authority can be added to the
exchange line authorizations.
This allows special telephone numbers to be made available for dialling. When short-code
dialling number authority is used, all short-code numbers can be dialled, independent of the
exchange line authorization.
Switching Short-code Dialling Number Authority On/Off
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Separately for business and personal calls
• For the exchange line transfer function (FUNCTIONS > Transfer > Exchange line
transfer)
• For the Call Through function (FUNCTIONS > Call Through > Exchange line settings)
• Via the configuration manager

Exchange line settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Select or clear each the business and private check boxes under Short-code
dialling number authority.
Enables the short-code dialling number authority.
