Starting the PBX with Alternate Firmware

Starting the PBX with Alternate Firmware
The COMpact 3000 VoIP can be operated with alternate firmware to allow you to use custom
features. The web site www.askozia.com has Asterisk-based AskoziaPBX firmware images
available for download free of charge (Open Source).
Note: The warranty claims apply only to original Auerswald firmware.
Requirements:
– Alternate firmware support (only on the COMpact 3000 VoIP)
– SD card with an alternate firmware image (alternat.img) in the root directory
1. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot on the PBX.
2. Restart the PBX via the configuration manager or by pressing a button.
The PBX starts with the alternate firmware running.
Important: If you would like to operate the PBX with the original firmware
again, remove the SD card and restart the PBX. As long as the SD card
containing the alternate firmware image is in the SD card slot on the PBX, the
alternate firmware will be started every time the PBX is restarted.
