Exchange Line Authorization
The exchange line authorization detemines which type of telephone numbers can be dialled by
a subscriber (e.g., telephone numbers in the local telephone network).
Configuring Exchange Line Authorization
Note: A subscriber needs at least the only incoming, with emergency call
exchange line authorization to accept incoming external calls.
The following exchange line authorizations can be configured:
• international: All international and domestic telephone numbers can be dialled.
• national: All domestic telephone numbers can be dialled.
• City: All telephone numbers without a provider area code can be dialled.
Note: If GSM access is used for an outgoing call, the PBX automatically dials
the telephone number with the configured local area code (national desti-
nation code).
• only incoming, with emergency call: Emergency numbers can be dialled, and incoming
external calls are accepted.
• only internal, with emergency call: Emergency numbers can be dialled, but no incoming
external calls are accepted.
• internal only, no emergency calls: No external calls can be made.
• exchange line dependent: The exchange line authorization can be configured separately
for the configured external connections (e.g., analog and VoIP, ISDN and VoIP).
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Separately for business and personal calls
• Separately for configurations
• For the exchange line transfer function (FUNCTIONS > Transfer > Exchange line
transfer)
• For the call through function (FUNCTIONS > Call Through > Exchange line settings)
