Configuring the PBX Remotely via an External S
Important: Before you can configure the PBX remotely via a dial-up
connection, the required configurations must first be made via an internal
network connection.
Requirements:
– External S
port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an
0
option)
– Configured remote switching number
Note: If no remote switching number has been configured, the PBX must be
activated for remote configuration using a digit sequence on an internal
telephone. After this, the PBX is accessible over each associated MSN/DDI.
– Configured dealer access number
Note: If no dealer access number has been configured or the telephone
number transmitted does not correspond with the configured telephone
numbers, the PBX must be activated via an internal telephone using a digit
sequence for remote configuration.
