Configuring the Reception Amplification

2. In the list field at the top, select the analog connection.
A page opens for configuring the analog connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. In the Impedance list field under General info, select the desired setting.

Configuring the Reception Amplification
The reception amplification indicates how many decibels the PBX increases all incoming audio
signals.
This is necessary when local audio signals are perceived as too quiet (e.g., the volume of the
speech that is output to the internal subscribers).
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External analog port (only COMpact 3000 analog)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Expert view (click
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analog connection.
A page opens for configuring the analog connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. In the Reception amplification list field under General info, select one of the
following options:
0 dB to +12 dB: The PBX increases all incoming audio signals by 0 to
12 decibels.
