VoIP Account Status Overview

VoIP Account Status Overview
The overview shows the three areas involved in the log-in procedure (STUN request, Regis-
tration and Outbound proxy). These areas stand for the important steps for establishing a
connection via the VoIP account.
Note:
The overview can be opened in the configuration manager by selecting
Status VoIP accounts in the list field next to
close the overview, click Close.
The overview can be printed by clicking Print.
The overview shows the status after a page request. It is not updated
automatically.
A simplified overview can also be configured as an element on the portal
page (Call channel assignments).
The status is indicated by a colored dot. At system start, all of the dots are first shown in gray
until an error occurs (red dot) or the requests are completed successfully (green dot).
In each area of the log-in procedure, a DNS request is carried out first and the response from
the DNS server is evaluated. If an error occurs (red dot), first check the following error sources:
• The PBX is not connected to the network (cable is not inserted or is defective).
• The DSL modem is defective.
• If operation in the same network is otherwise undisturbed, check the network configuration
of the PBX (Ethernet configuration, HTTP proxy configuration or DNS configuration;
see CONFIGURATION > Server configuration > Network).
If this does not produce any results, check the status of the individual areas:
STUN request
Green The response of the STUN server is without error and indicates that the firewall
permits traffic via the SIP transport protocol.
