Configuring the Conversion of Incoming VoIP Telephone Numbers

Configuring the Conversion of Incoming VoIP Telephone Numbers
In order for telephone numbers for incoming VoIP calls listed in the call data list to be used for
callbacks, they usually need to be converted. The following rules are used for this:
• Delete @ and the characters to the right of it: Deletes the @ character and the
characters to the right of the @. Example: The number 4953069200700@24515623478.de
becomes 4953069200700 after this rule is applied.
• Delete non-numeric characters: Deletes all non-numeric characters. Example: The
address 05306unknown@sipgate.de becomes 05306 after this rule is applied.
• Prefix the number with 00: Places 00 before the number. Example: The number
4953069200700 becomes 004953069200700 after this rule is applied.
• Replace the country code at the beginning of the number with 0: Replaces the country
prefix (e.g., 0049) at the beginning of the number with a 0. The country prefix must be
entered in the PBX (CONFIGURATION > External phone numbers > Location).
Example: The number 004953069200700 becomes 053069200700 after this rule is
applied.
• Prefix the number with: Places 0 before the number. Example: The number 53069200700
becomes 053069200700 after this rule is applied.
• "unknown" is changed to "number unknown": The string 05306unknown is treated as
an unknown telephone number in the system when these rules are applied.
Configuration can be carried out as follows:
• Separately for VoIP providers
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)
