Configuring Music on Hold or Restoring Default Music on Hold
3. Click Browse (this text is dependent on the operating system used) under Store in
the PBX.
A file selection dialog opens.
4. Select the file you want and click Open (this text is dependent on the operating
system used).
The path and the file name are displayed in the field next to Browse.
5. Click Save.
6. Click OK.
Saving Music on Hold on the PC via the Configuration Manager
The music on hold saved in the PBX ("wmusic.wav") can be saved on the PC as a backup copy.
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Music on hold/announcement > File and volume.
2. In the File list field, select the Music on hold option.
3. Click Read under Read from PBX.
A file location dialog opens.
4. Select the desired location and click Save (this text is dependent on the operating
system used).
Setting the Volume of Music on Hold via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Music on hold enabled
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Music on hold/announcement > File and volume.
2. In the File list field, select the Music on hold option.
3. Slide the Volume slider under Settings or enter a value in the entry field next to the
slider. The following entries are possible:
