Entering Telephone Numbers for the VoIP Point-to-Point Connection

6. In the Name entry field, enter a display name for the telephone number. The following
entries are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
Note:
The name is used for display purposes on the system telephone.
If no display name has been entered, the account name is displayed.
When using the provider T-Online, the VoIP phone numbers obtained from
the provider must also be entered under Name.

Entering Telephone Numbers for the VoIP Point-to-Point Connection
The PBX base number with the following extension or global call number indicates which digit
sequence a caller needs to dial to establish the VoIP point-to-point connection.
The point-to-point connection has a PBX base number and up to ten extension numbers
(including the global call number). The VoIP provider allocates the telephone numbers for the
connection.
The entry can be made as follows:
• Separately for VoIP accounts
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center) in the connection type point-to-point connection
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the VoIP connection in question.
