Configuring a Ringer Rhythm for External Calls via the Point-to-Multipoint Connection

Requirements:
– External analog port (only COMpact 3000 analog)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analog connection.
A page opens for configuring the analog connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Telephone numbers.
Note: The configuration is also provided during the quick configuration using
the configuration wizard.
4. Select one of the following options in the Ringer rhythm list field.
1 x long: 1 Long tone (1 second), 4 second pause, ...
3 x short: 3 Double tones, approx. 1 second pause, ...
1st special rhythm: Uninterrupted pulsing
2nd special rhythm: Continually repeating double tones (3 double tones in
5 seconds)
3rd special rhythm: 1 Double tone, approx. 4 second pause, ...
4th special rhythm: 2 Short tones, approx. 4 second pause, ...
5th special rhythm: 2 Long tones, approx. 3 second pause, ...
6th special rhythm: 1 1 short and 1 long tone, approx. 4 second pause, ...

Configuring a Ringer Rhythm for External Calls via the Point-to-Multipoint
Connection
The ringer rhythm indicates which tone sequence is used to signal external calls made to the
telephone number assigned to the point-to-multipoint connection, to the internal PBX
subscribers.
