Defining the Line
Overview
The definition of the line to be used can require up to three steps, depending
on the selected task:

Defining the Line

Select Leica Captivate - Home: Measure to line or Stake to line.

In Task, select the required task and press OK.

Description
Instrument positions horizontally to the point
to be staked.
Instrument positions horizontally and verti-
cally to the point to be staked.
To take a measurement in Face I and Face II.
The point stored is an average of the two
measurements. When an instrument has
auto aiming, the point is automatically meas-
ured in both faces. The resulting point is
stored and the instrument is returned to the
first face.
