Management Voice Mail/Fax Function and Memory

If the voice mail function is used without the COMmander VMF(-R) module,
announcements for the voice mailboxes, language files, and incoming voice
messages, are stored on the necessary USB data storage device.
After the COMmander VMF(-R) module has been inserted, the announce-
ments for the voice mailboxes, language files, and also incoming faxes and
voice messages, are saved to the memory card in the COMmander VMF(-
R) module.
Caution: Do not remove the USB data storage device from
the PBX while the system is running.
Important:
For technical reasons, the mainboard's voice mail channels are
switched off when the COMmander VMF(-R) module is inserted. Any
voice mailboxes that have been previously configured are switched off.
Existing announcements/recordings can no longer be accessed (the
COMmander VMF(-R) module uses its own SD card instead of the
USB data storage device). If you want to keep an announcement/
recording, save it to the hard disk before inserting this module.
