remote-file: Name for the file on a remote SFTP server.
Use the
put
command to upload a local file to a remote SFTP server.
If you do not specify the remote-file argument, the file will be saved remotely with
the same name as the local one.
# Upload local file temp.c to the remote SFTP server and save it as temp1.c.
sftp-client> put temp.c temp1.c
Local file:temp.c --->
Uploading file successfully ended
pwd
SFTP client view

Use the
command to display the current working directory of a remote SFTP
pwd
server.
# Display the current working directory of the remote SFTP server.
sftp-client> pwd
/
quit
SFTP client view
None
Use the
quit
command to terminate the connection with a remote SFTP server
and return to system view.
This command functions as the bye and exit commands.
# Terminate the connection with the remote SFTP server.
