Description
time: Delay before sending a DTMF signal in milliseconds, in the range of 50 to
10,000.
Use the
timer dtmf
point receives a seizure acknowledgement signal to when it starts sending DTMF
signals.
Use the
undo timer dtmf
By default, the delay is 50 milliseconds.
This command applies to R2 signaling only.
Normally, the originating point starts sending DTMF signals immediately after
receiving a line seizure acknowledgement signal. Sometimes, however, you may
need to introduce a delay to accommodate to the digit collection process on the
remote PBX.

Before you can configure this command, you must configure the dtmf enable
command.
# Configure the R2 signaling to start sending DTMF signals 800 milliseconds later
after receiving a seizure acknowledgement signal.

persistence time: Duration in milliseconds of R2 register pulse signals, in the
range of 50 to 3,000.
Use the
timer register-pulse persistence
of R2 register pulse signals such as A-3, A-4, and A-6.
Use the
undo timer register-pulse persistence
default, that is, 150 milliseconds.
By default, the duration is 150 milliseconds.
