Use the
lcd
command to display the local directory of the FTP client.
# Display the local directory.
[ftp] lcd
FTP: Local directory now cf:/temp
ls [ remotefile ] [ localfile ] ]
FTP client view
remotefile: Filename or directory on the remote FTP server.
localfile: Name of a local file used to save the displayed information.
Use the
ls
command to view the information of all the files and subdirectories
under the current directory of the remote FTP server. The file names and
subdirectory names are displayed.
Use the
remotefile command to view the information of a specified file or
ls
subdirectory.
Use the
remotefile localfile command view the information of a specified file or
ls
subdirectory, and save the result to a local file specified by the localfile argument.

The Is command can only display the names of files and directories, whereas the
dir command can display other related information of the files and directories,
such as the size, the date they are created.
