Syntax: USER <sp>
<username>.
rmdir directory
FTP client view
directory: Directory name on the remote FTP server.
Use the command to remove a specified directory from the FTP server.
rmdir
Note that only authorized users are allowed to use this command.
Note that:
The directory to be deleted must be empty, meaning you should delete all files
■
and the subdirectory under the directory before you delete a directory. For the
deletion of files, refer to "delete" on page 2352.
After you execute the rmdir command, the files in the remote recycle bin
■
under the directory will be automatically deleted.
# Delete the cf:/temp1 directory from the FTP server.
[ftp] rmdir cf:/temp1
200 RMD command successful.
