Syntax
silent-interface { all | interface-type interface-number }
undo silent-interface { all | interface-type interface-number }

Parameters
all: Disables all interfaces from sending OSPF packets.
interface-type interface-number: Interface type and interface number.
Description
Use the silent-interface command to disable an interface or all interfaces from
sending OSPF packets.
Use the undo silent-interface command to restore the default.
By default, an interface sends OSPF packets.
A disabled interface is a passive interface, which cannot send any hello packet.
To make no routing information obtained by other routers on a network segment, you
can use this command to disable the interface from sending OSPF packets.
Examples
# Disable an interface from sending OSPF packets.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] ospf 100
[Sysname-ospf-100] silent-interface vlan-interface 10
