Chapter 2 IPv6 RIPng Configuration Commands

Note:
Throughout this chapter, the term "router" refers to a Layer 3 switch running routing
protocols.
At present, the LSQ1GP12EA boards in the S7500E series do not support IPv6.
2.1 RIPng Configuration Commands
2.1.1 checkzero

Description
Use the checkzero command to enable the zero field check on RIPng packets.
Use the undo checkzero command to disable the zero field check.
The zero field check is enabled by default.
Some fields in RIPng packet headers must be zero. These fields are called zero fields.
You can enable the zero field check on RIPng packet headers. If any such field contains
a non-zero value, the RIPng packet will be discarded.
Examples
# Disable the zero field check on RIPng packet headers of RIPng 100.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] ripng 100
[Sysname-ripng-100] undo checkzero
