4.1.13 c-rp holdtime

Syntax
c-rp holdtime interval
undo c-rp holdtime
View
PIM view
Parameters
interval: C-RP timeout in seconds, with an effective range of 1 to 65,535.
Description
Use the c-rp holdtime command to configure the global C-RP timeout time, namely the
length of time the BSR waits before it must receive a C-RP-Adv message.
Use the undo c-rp holdtime command to restore the system default.
By default, the C-RP timeout time is 150 seconds.
Because a non-BSR router refreshes its C-RP timeout time through BSR bootstrap
messages, to prevent loss of BSR bootstrap messages, make sure that the C-RP
timeout time is not smaller than the interval at which the BSR sends bootstrap
messages. The recommended C-RP timeout setting is 2.5 times the bootstrap interval
or longer.
Related commands: c-rp, c-bsr interval.

# Set the global C-RP timeout time to 200 seconds.
