Parameters
value: Interval for sending NS messages in milliseconds, in the range of 1,000 to
4,294,967,295.
Description
Use the ipv6 nd ns retrans-timer command to set the interval for sending NS
messages. The local interface sends NS messages at intervals of this value.
Furthermore, the Retrans Timer field in RA messages sent by the local interface is
equal to this value.
Use the undo ipv6 nd ns retrans-timer command to restore the default interval.
By default, the local interface sends NS messages at intervals of 1,000 milliseconds
and the Retrans Timer field in RA messages sent by the local interface is 0.
Examples
# Specify VLAN-interface 100 to send NS messages at intervals of 10,000
milliseconds.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface vlan-interface 100
[Sysname-Vlan-interface100] ipv6 nd ns retrans-timer 10000
