DAJ1 (Server Duplication Memory Board)
Read Error Register Test
There are three registers this test queries: the Optical Line receiver CRC error
register, the SDRAM single bit error register, and the SDRAM multiple bit error
register. The SDRAM single bit error register can be "self healed" by the DAJ1,
however, if there are chronic problems, it could be an indiction of a more serious
problem and should be noted. CRC errors indicate problems with the optical
interface between the Active and Standby connection. The SDRAM multiple bit
error condition will indicate that there is problems in the DAJ1 board's memory,
multiple bit errors cannot be recovered. The following errors can be detected:

Description / Recommendation
The Memory Duplication Driver (MDD) is the system driver that
communicates with the DAJ1 board. If the driver cannot be
opened, then the DAJ1 board's registers cannot be read. This is a
system type error, try again.
The test ran, but, for some reason the MDD could not return data.
This is a system type error, try again.
Test failed "DAJ1 err count query, code=?" – where "?" indicates
which of the DAJ1 board's error counters had positive data. The
failure code can be 1–7 and is determined by the following bit
vector (all "x" bits could be set, indicating that every error register
had errors):
0xxx
If bit 1 is set (0xx1) – Single-bit errors occurred
If bit 2 is set (0x1x) – CRC errors occurred
If bit 3 is set (01xx) – Multibit errors occurred
