STEP 7
Remove the safety clip from each hood strut.
STEP 8
Remove the hood struts.
STEP 9
Remove the locking bracket.

Lower the hood and push rearward until the hood
bracket (1) is free of the hood support rod (2). While
balancing the hood, raise as necessary and remove
from the chassis.
