Disassembly
NOTE: If there is heavy wear ar damage in a valve
bore, the valve section must be replaced.
STEP 13
Thoroughly clean the valve section and place on a
clean work surface. Remove the solenoids from the
solenoid bodies. Note the position of the solenoids
on the body for assembly.
STEP 14
Remove the solenoid blocks and springs from each
end of the valve section. Note which side of the valve
that the springs are from. Inspect for damage.

STEP 15
Remove the main valve spool and washers. Note the
end of the spool that is toward the load check cap
end of the valve. Inspect the spool and bore for heavy
wear or damage. The spool must move freely in the
bore.
STEP 16
Remove the pressure compensating flow control
spool and spring from the valve from the end without
the load check cap. Inspect the parts for and bore for
heavy wear or damage. The spool must move freely
in the bore.
