1. Install the plug (2) flush to the surface, as shown.

2. Make sure that all the oil passages in the shaft

are clean and open.

Hit the clutch carrier against a wood block to remove

the clutch pistons.

Section 21 - Transmission, Drivelines - Chapter 4

Replace the teflon ring and O-ring on the piston and

carrier as follows:

1. Install the O-ring in the groove.

2. Install the teflon ring over the O-ring.

Install the snap ring into the third groove in the shaft,

down from the rear end of the shaft.
